About this stone
Petrified wood is timber that turned to mineral over millions of years while keeping the look of its grain. In this panel the stone is cut into small rectangular blocks laid in staggered rows, like brickwork, in cream, rust, caramel and dark brown, with fine grain lines running along each piece.
It brings the warmth of wood with the feel of stone, and suits a feature wall, a table top, a bar front or a reception desk. Not for floors, kitchen worktops or outdoor use.
Care
These panels are stone pieces set in resin on a backing board, so they are more delicate than a solid slab: protect them from knocks, heavy loads and sharp objects. Wipe with a soft damp cloth and a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid acids, scouring pads and hot pans, and keep the panel out of strong direct sun, which can age the resin over time.
Better avoided for
