About this stone
Brown agate runs from near-black and dark coffee through amber to pale cream, all in the ring structure agate is known for. In this panel the slices are cut at many angles, so some show full circles with pale centres and others show long, sweeping bands.
Its warm range pairs easily with timber and brass. It suits a feature wall, a bar front, a table top or a reception desk, and it can be backlit. Keep it off floors, kitchen worktops and outdoor walls.
Care
These panels are stone pieces set in resin on a backing board, so they are more delicate than a solid slab: protect them from knocks, heavy loads and sharp objects. Wipe with a soft damp cloth and a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid acids, scouring pads and hot pans, and keep the panel out of strong direct sun, which can age the resin over time.
