About this stone
Noce means walnut. This Turkish travertine comes in tan and khaki-brown tones with lighter lines and small holes. Vein cut means the block is sawn across its natural layers, so you see those layers as straight parallel lines, like the edges of the pages in a closed book. Laid in one direction, the lines make a room look longer and more ordered.
It is widely used for floors, stairs, cladding and outdoor paving. Holes are filled for indoor use and can be left open with a tumbled finish for terraces and pool decks. It is softer than granite and etches with acids, so keep it off kitchen countertops, and expect natural shade differences between pieces.
Care
Seal after installation and every year or two after that. Clean with water and a neutral stone cleaner, never with acids or bleach.
