About this stone
Tan Brown sets rounded copper-brown crystals against a near-black ground, so a counter looks dark from a distance and warm up close. It suits kitchens with beige, cream or wood cabinets and hides crumbs and daily marks well.
It is a hard, dense granite that takes hot pans and heavy use in its stride, which is why it is common in busy family kitchens, on stairs and on sills. It also works on vanity tops and floors. The honest caveat: the brown clusters vary in size and density between slabs, and some people find the pattern busy in a small kitchen, so view a full slab before cutting.
Care
Wipe with warm water and a mild dish soap, then dry with a soft cloth to avoid spots. Skip bleach, vinegar and abrasive powders.
