About this stone
Oriental White has a pale grey-white ground marked by thin, wavy lines of grey and light tan that run roughly parallel across the slab. The effect is quiet and orderly, suited to bathroom walls, floors, stairs and window sills, where the lines give gentle direction without drama.
As a calcite marble it is softer than granite. It scratches, etches with acids, and can stain if oil or coffee sits on it. Because the lines run in one direction, decide their direction before cutting floor tiles or stair treads so the pattern stays consistent. It works on a kitchen countertop, but a honed surface hides daily marks better.
Care
Seal it after installation and reseal as needed. Clean with a neutral stone cleaner and wipe acidic spills straight away.
