About this stone
This marble has a white ground swept by broad grey waves and swirls, with darker clouded areas where the grey gathers. It gives a room a sense of flow rather than sharp veining, and suits living room floors, feature walls and bathroom cladding.
Behaviour is that of a typical marble. It is softer than granite or quartz, so it can scratch, and acids etch a polished face. Sealing helps it resist coffee, oil and makeup stains. Colour spreads unevenly across a slab, with some areas mostly white and others mostly grey, so view full slabs and plan the cut. On a kitchen countertop it will show wear over time.
Care
Seal it before use and reseal periodically. Wipe spills promptly and avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners.
Better avoided for
- Outdoor & facades
