About this stone
A milky ivory ground with soft drifts of golden and ochre veining, closer in mood to a warm white marble than to a beige. It brightens a room without the cold look of pure white, and the gold threads pick up brass taps, oak and warm lighting.
It is at its best on bathroom walls and vanities, feature walls, living-room floors and tables. Pale marble of this kind shows coffee, oil and rust stains more than darker stones, so it needs good sealing and quick wiping. On a busy family kitchen countertop it asks for more care than most people want to give.
Care
Apply a stain-resistant sealer after installation and renew it regularly. Wipe coffee and oil at once, and keep wet metal pans off it to avoid rust marks.
