About this stone
A light ivory marble with fine golden zigzag lines and small, scattered fossil fragments in grey and brown, like little shell flakes set into the stone. The overall effect is bright and warm, with enough texture to hide dust and footprints on a floor.
It is a dense marble used for floors, stairs and wall cladding for generations, and it looks at home in reception halls, entrances and bathrooms, as well as on window sills and vanity tops. The fossils are part of its character, but small pits around them are common and are normally filled at the factory, so look closely at the surface. A honed finish is easier to live with on busy walkways.
Care
Seal after installation and clean with pH-neutral products. A mat at the door keeps grit from scratching polished floors.
