About this stone
Extra is a select grade of Bianco Sivec, sorted for an even white with very few grey or cream traces. Slabs look almost uniform, which suits minimal interiors, large wall panels and floors where a calm, continuous white is the aim.
It is the same dolomitic marble as standard Sivec: fine grained and slightly harder than Carrara, yet still able to etch with acids and scratch under grit. On such a clean white, coffee, oil and rust from metal tins show quickly, so seal it and wipe spills straight away. It is well suited to bathroom walls, vanities, floors and stairs indoors. A busy kitchen countertop is not a good use for it.
Care
Seal before use and keep a neutral stone cleaner on hand. Do not leave damp metal, coloured soaps or cosmetics sitting on it.
