About this stone
Baltic Brown has large round brown crystals, each ringed in dark green, set in a black and brown ground. On a kitchen counter it gives a warm, lively surface that works with wood, cream or beige cabinets and hides everyday crumbs well.
The tight crystal structure makes it a strong, dense stone that handles heat and daily cooking. It works on countertops, stairs, sills, table tops and wall cladding. The honest caveat: the round pattern is bold and can look busy in a small kitchen or next to patterned tiles, and it has a traditional feel, so pair it with a plain splashback and view a slab before deciding.
Care
Wipe with warm water and a mild dish soap, then dry with a soft cloth to avoid spots. Skip bleach, vinegar and abrasive powders.
