About this stone
Ocean Black is a very dark charcoal with a fine, even grain and a faint green cast in daylight. On a kitchen counter it looks softer than a jet black, which makes it easier to live with next to grey, white or wood cabinets.
The tight grain gives a steady, quiet look, and like other dense dark granites it handles heat and everyday use well. It suits countertops, stairs, vanity tops, sills and floors. The honest caveat: the green cast shows in daylight but can disappear under warm lamps, and a polished dark finish still shows water spots and fingerprints, so look at a sample in the room where it will go.
Care
Wipe with warm water and a mild dish soap, then dry with a soft cloth to avoid spots. Skip bleach, vinegar and abrasive powders.
