About this stone

Miele means honey, and the name fits: a honey to olive-brown marble made of angular fragments outlined by cream veins, with a few small pale spots. It sits between light and dark Emperador in tone, warm but not heavy, and it works with wood, beige walls and brass.

It suits floors, stairs, cladding, vanities and window sills, and the broken pattern disguises dust and everyday wear. The honest caveat is movement: fragment size and colour shift across a slab and between slabs, so lay pieces out before fixing to balance the floor. As a marble it etches with acidic spills.

Care

Mop with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and wipe spills promptly. Reseal once a year.
