About this stone
Silver Wave is a dark grey marble with curving black and brown-grey bands that look like the grain of a cut log, crossed by fine white lines. On a wall it brings the warmth of timber with the weight of stone, and it suits living rooms, entrances and bathroom walls.
The bands have a clear direction, so slabs are often book-matched for a mirrored effect. It is also used for floors and vanity tops. Be aware that the fine cross-lines are natural fissures, usually filled with resin at the factory, so edges and cut-outs should be worked slowly.
Care
Clean with water and a neutral stone cleaner. Avoid acids, and reseal honed or leathered surfaces every year.
