About this stone

Bardiglio is a light to mid grey marble with charcoal veins that drift across the slab in loose, sideways lines. In a home it reads cool and quiet, and it sits well next to white walls, oak doors and brushed steel.

It is a dense marble that polishes to a clear shine and also looks good honed. It suits living-room floors, stairs, bathroom walls and window sills, and it can work as a kitchen top for careful cooks. Like any marble it is calcite, so lemon, vinegar and strong cleaners will dull the polish where they sit.

Care

Wipe spills quickly and clean with water and a neutral stone soap. Reseal every year or so, more often on a kitchen top.
