About this stone
Galala Classic is a warm cream-beige with a fine, even grain, small pale flecks and the odd soft cloud. Across a living room or up a staircase it reads as one quiet, continuous surface, and it sits well in both classic and modern homes.
Like all marble it is a fairly soft stone. Sand and heels slowly dull a polished floor, and lemon, vinegar or strong cleaners leave pale marks. A hot pot will not hurt it. It is at its best on floors, stairs, bathroom walls and window sills. On a busy kitchen countertop, expect etching and oil stains unless you like a lived-in look.
Care
Wipe with warm water and a mild, pH-neutral soap. Seal after fitting, reseal about once a year, and wipe spills quickly.
