About this stone

Tiger eye has a fibrous structure that reflects a band of light, and that band seems to move as you walk past. In this panel rectangular pieces are laid in horizontal courses, each striped in gold, honey and dark brown with a silky shine.

The moving sheen does not show fully in a photo, so it is worth seeing a sample in person. It suits a feature wall, a bar front, a reception desk or a table top. Not for floors, kitchen worktops or outdoor use.

Care

These panels are stone pieces set in resin on a backing board, so they are more delicate than a solid slab: protect them from knocks, heavy loads and sharp objects. Wipe with a soft damp cloth and a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid acids, scouring pads and hot pans, and keep the panel out of strong direct sun, which can age the resin over time.

Better avoided for

  • Floors
  • Kitchen countertops
  • Outdoor & facades
  • Stairs
  • Sills & thresholds
