About this stone
Spanish Gold is a deep ochre-gold marble crossed by bold, milky-white veins and a web of fine rust and grey lines. The white veins cut across the warm ground like lightning, which gives floors and walls a confident, traditional look.
It works on feature walls, hall floors, stair borders, window sills and inlay work beside cream or black stones. Polished, the gold becomes rich and warm; honed, it looks more rustic. The wide white veins can carry small natural pits, which are filled during finishing, and the amount of white changes from slab to slab. As a marble it reacts to acids, so keep it away from kitchen countertops.
Care
Wipe with warm water and a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Seal once a year and wipe up lemon, vinegar and coffee quickly.
