About this stone
Golden Sinai is a deep yellow-gold marble with pale cream patches and thin grey lines running between them. The pattern is bold and irregular, so each slab looks different, and the stone warms up a room or a building front.
It is a dense marble, and its colour holds up in strong sun without bleaching. That makes it a good choice for outside walls, entrances, terraces and pool edges, as well as a feature wall or floor inside. It is still softer than granite, and lemon, vinegar and strong cleaners leave dull marks. Outside, use a sandblasted or bush-hammered finish on floors so it is not slippery when wet.
Care
Wash with water and a neutral cleaner. Outside, reseal every year or two and avoid acid-based cleaners.
Better avoided for
- Kitchen countertops
