About this stone
Goldi is a warm golden beige, close to ochre, crossed by thin darker veins that run in long lines across the surface. The figure stays calm, so a large floor looks even rather than busy, and the colour pairs well with wood doors, cream walls and brass fittings. It works on floors, stairs, bathroom walls and window sills, polished for shine or honed and brushed for a softer look.
It is a marble, so it is softer than granite. Sand scratches the polish, and acids such as lemon, vinegar and some bathroom cleaners etch it. Hot items are fine. The honest caveat: in a busy kitchen it will etch and stain, so choose it for floors and walls instead.
Care
Mop with water and a neutral cleaner, and avoid acidic bathroom products. Seal after installation.
