About this stone
A black marble whose veins are silver-white instead of gold, flowing in wavy lines that stack into long horizontal bands. The effect is cooler and more modern than classic Portoro, and it pairs well with grey tiles, chrome or matte black fittings and pale walls.
It suits feature walls, cladding, vanity tops and tables, and floors in dry indoor rooms. Because the pattern runs in one direction, plan the layout so the bands line up across joins, especially on walls. As a marble it etches with acidic spills, and the honed finish hides light wear better than the polished one.
Care
Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and dry spills promptly. Reseal once a year.
