About this stone
This is not the Spanish stone. It is a black marble quarried in Asia and sold under the Nero Marquina name because it gives a similar look: a dark black to charcoal ground with thin white veins. On a large floor or a clad wall it delivers the black-and-white effect many homeowners want.
It works on floors, wall cladding, vanities, stairs and sills. Be honest with yourself about the comparison: the black can lean more charcoal and the veining can differ from block to block, so view the slabs next to a Spanish sample if the exact match matters. Like any marble it marks with acids and scratches more easily than granite.
Care
Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid acidic products. Seal after installation and reseal once a year.
