About this stone
Rosso Verona has a warm orange-ochre ground broken into soft rounded patches, with deeper rust tones and thin dark seams between them. In a room it feels sunny and old-world rather than loud, closer to terracotta than to a true red.
It suits floors and borders, stair treads, window sills and wall cladding, and it looks at home in an antique or honed finish as much as polished. It also pairs well with cream marble in a chequer or inlay. The seams between the nodules can be softer than the stone around them, so expect some filling, and keep it away from kitchen counters where acids will mark it.
Care
Mop with a pH-neutral cleaner and dry spills quickly. Seal floors and stairs after installation and reseal every year or two.
