About this stone
Galala Gold is Galala that comes out of the mountain with a warmer, honey colour and thin golden lines. The ground is still a soft beige with paler clouds, but the gold makes it feel richer. It lifts an entrance, a staircase or a wall behind a sofa more than plain beige would.
It behaves like the rest of the Galala family. It is easy to cut and shape, but softer than granite, so it scratches and etches with lemon or vinegar. Heat is not a problem. Use it for floors, stairs and feature walls. Because the gold varies from piece to piece, lay the tiles out dry before fixing.
Care
Mop with a pH-neutral cleaner and avoid bleach or acidic sprays. Seal after fitting and reseal about once a year.
