About this stone
Fillito is a pale beige marble crossed by thin, dark lines that run at a fairly steady angle, almost like pencil strokes. It has more movement than most Egyptian beiges, and it looks its best on a wall, where two slabs can be laid as a mirror image.
Use it for a feature wall behind the TV or bed, wall cladding, a bar or reception counter, or a table top. On a large floor the lines can feel busy. Like any marble it is softer than granite, and lemon, vinegar or strong cleaners leave dull marks, so it is a poor pick for a kitchen countertop. Choose your slabs in person, since the lines differ from block to block.
Care
Dust and wipe with a damp cloth and a neutral cleaner. On a table top, use coasters and wipe drinks straight away.
