About this stone
Breccia Oniciata has a soft peach-beige ground crossed by wavy, flame-like bands of deeper honey beige, with fine white lines that catch the light. From a distance it reads as one warm tone; up close it has plenty of movement, which suits rooms that want warmth without strong contrast.
It looks at home on reception floors, stair treads, wall cladding and around a bathroom basin, and it sits well with gold or brass fittings. Polished, it glows; honed, it feels calmer and less slippery. The bands change direction across the slab, so lay the tiles out dry before fixing. It is a marble, so lemon or vinegar will leave dull marks.
Care
Wipe with warm water and a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Seal once a year and wipe up lemon, vinegar and coffee quickly.
