About this stone
Madura Gold has a fine, even grain in warm gold and mustard, with a few small dark specks. On a kitchen counter it gives a sunny, uniform colour with little movement, so it works with cream, wood or white cabinets and keeps a plain look.
It is a hard granite that handles heat, daily use and foot traffic, so it suits countertops, floors, stairs and sills. The honest caveat: yellow granites can vary in depth of colour from batch to batch, so matching new pieces to an older installation is difficult, and light gold may show oil marks if spills are left, so reseal it periodically.
Care
Wipe spills promptly with warm water and mild soap, and reseal roughly once a year. Avoid acidic and abrasive cleaners.
