About this stone
Balmoral mixes salmon-red crystals with clusters of dark grey and green, giving a warm, even speckle with no veins. In a kitchen it brings strong colour, so it sits well with plain cream, white or dark wood cabinets.
It is a hard, weather-resistant granite that holds its colour in sun, which suits stairs, entrances, floors and outdoor cladding, flamed where grip matters. It also takes a good polish for counters and sills. The honest caveat: red granite leads a room and can clash with orange-toned wood floors or warm lighting, so check a sample in the actual space before deciding.
Care
Indoors, wipe with mild soap and water. Outdoors, sweep and wash with plain water, and avoid acid cleaners that dull the surface.
