About this stone
Light Green Onyx has a soft mint ground with white cloud-like drifts and, here and there, a thin rust-brown vein. The contrast is low, so it reads as calm colour rather than busy pattern. Backlit, the green lightens to a sea-glass tone and the white drifts glow.
Because it is quiet, it can cover a whole wall, not only one panel, and it also suits vanity fronts, bar fronts and lighting panels. Rust veins vary between slabs, so see the pieces before cutting. As an onyx it is not suited to kitchen counters, floors or outdoor use.
Care
Clean with a pH-neutral stone soap and wipe spills, especially lemon, vinegar and juice, straight away. Reseal on a regular schedule and use coasters and mats, since onyx etches and scratches easily.
