About this stone
Colorful Onyx carries several colours in one slab. The piece shown has a cream and white ground folded by zigzag bands of caramel brown with fine burgundy-red lines; other slabs under this name can also show green or amber. Backlit, the cream glows and the bands read as layered outlines.
No two slabs match, so it suits single statements: a feature wall, bar front, table top or decorative piece. Choose from the actual slab rather than a small sample. It is soft and etches with acids, so it is not for kitchen counters, floors or outdoor use.
Care
Clean with a pH-neutral stone soap and wipe spills, especially lemon, vinegar and juice, straight away. Reseal on a regular schedule and use coasters and mats, since onyx etches and scratches easily.
