About this stone
A slate that mixes blue-black and charcoal grey with patches of rust orange and pale streaks, all in one piece. The colours sit in layers, and the natural split surface gives it a rugged, handmade look.
It is used for feature walls, facades, garden paths, outdoor steps and rustic interiors, and it looks at home in country houses and chalets. The textured face gives good grip outdoors. Colours vary a lot, so mix pieces from different crates when laying to spread them evenly. A split surface can shed thin flakes at first, so brush it down before sealing. It is not suited to kitchen countertops.
Care
Brush clean and seal after fixing, renewing every year or two. Wash with water and a neutral cleaner.
