About this stone
A soft rose travertine: pinkish beige with a cloudy surface, faint lines, and small rust and grey-green flecks here and there. It looks warm without being loud, and it goes well with brass, cream fabrics and light wood.
It suits floors, wall cladding, bathroom walls and stairs, and can be used outdoors with a tumbled or brushed finish. The natural holes are filled for indoor use so the surface stays smooth. The rust flecks are part of the stone, not stains, but they vary between pieces, so look at several samples side by side. Travertine is sensitive to acids, so keep it away from kitchen countertops.
Care
Seal after installation and every year or two. Use water and a neutral stone cleaner, and wipe spills of juice or vinegar quickly.
