About this stone
Rosa El Nasr has the same coarse crystal as the Aswan reds, but the feldspar runs soft pink, mixed with milky white and small black and grey grains. The overall look is light and warm, which suits stairs, entrance halls and the outside walls of a villa or building.
As a granite it takes daily foot traffic, sun and rain without fading, and flamed tiles give good grip outdoors. It can work as a kitchen countertop, but because it is lighter and more open than the dark granites, cooking oil left on it can darken a patch. Seal it well and wipe spills the same day.
Care
Wipe with warm water and a mild soap, and avoid acid or bleach cleaners. Seal before use indoors and reseal yearly on a kitchen countertop.
