About this stone
Bianco Halayeb has a white to pale grey ground scattered with black flecks and small clusters, so a countertop or staircase looks bright and clean without being plain. It keeps a kitchen or entrance light, and the speckle hides crumbs and dust well.
Like other granites it is hard: knives and pots will not scratch it in normal use, and a hot pan will not mark it, though a trivet is still sensible. It suits kitchen countertops, stairs, floors, window sills and outdoor steps. The honest caveat is colour: being pale, it can take up oil or tea if left unsealed, so sealing matters in a kitchen.
Care
Wipe with warm water and a mild soap; avoid bleach and acidic cleaners. Reseal every year or two, more often on a busy kitchen countertop.
