About this stone
Indian Juparana is a light grey stone with fine black speckle and soft peach-pink bands that run across the slab in long waves. It feels lighter and calmer than a typical speckled granite, which suits bright kitchens, stair runs and apartment floors.
It is hard and resists wear, so it works for floors, stairs, sills and countertops, and flamed it can go outdoors. The honest caveat: the bands give the stone a direction, so stair treads and floor tiles need laying with the bands running the same way, and a light stone shows oil or coffee if spills sit, so wipe promptly and reseal from time to time.
Care
Wipe spills promptly with warm water and mild soap, and reseal roughly once a year. Avoid acidic and abrasive cleaners.
