About this stone
A near-solid pure white. From a distance it reads as one flat colour, and only up close do a few very faint ghost veins show. It keeps a small kitchen bright and quiet, and lets the cabinets and handles set the style.
It is engineered quartz, about 90% crushed quartz bound with resin, so it is non-porous, needs no sealing and resists tea, oil and lemon stains. Use a trivet for hot pots, keep it out of strong direct sun, and use it indoors only.
Care
Wipe with warm water and mild dish soap, and wipe coffee or turmeric spills promptly. Avoid bleach and scouring pads, and use a trivet under hot pans.
