About this stone

Amethyst panels are built from slices of violet quartz crystal, fitted together and set in resin on a backing. Lit from the front, the panel reads deep purple, close to dark. Put light behind it and each piece opens up into bands of magenta and lilac, with the joins showing as fine bright lines.

It works on a backlit feature wall, a bar front, a reception desk or a small bathroom feature. Keep it off floors, kitchen worktops and outdoor walls.

Care

These panels are stone pieces set in resin on a backing board, so they are more delicate than a solid slab: protect them from knocks, heavy loads and sharp objects. Wipe with a soft damp cloth and a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid acids, scouring pads and hot pans, and keep the panel out of strong direct sun, which can age the resin over time.
